Booking School Facilities

The William de Ferrers School is set in extensive grounds adjacent to the main town centre square in South Woodham Ferrers.

Parts of the campus are shared with the public as a result of our location and being at the heart of the South Woodham Ferrers community, this includes arrangements for the joint use of the Essex County Council Library and Chelmsford City Council Leisure Centre.

Our sports facilities that are available for hire include extensive playing fields, a sports hall, a gymnasium, an all weather 3G Pitch, and climbing wall.  Other facilities include a large assembly hall with tiered seating for 200, a purpose built dance studio, a meeting room for 12 people, classrooms and other internal venues.  Most of our facilities are available for use by the community, if you would like to make an enquiry regarding the use of any of our facilities.  

Our facilities are open seven days a week with closures for bank holidays, some school holidays and occasional other days necessary for the running of the school. The facilities will have restricted usage during some times subject to the needs of the school. as much notice as possible will be given if facilities are closed.
