Sixth Form Course Guides and subject videos/information

William de Ferrers School Sixth Form offers a wide range of A Level subjects as well as a number of level three vocational courses which are equivalent to A Levels. These vocational courses can be taken as a single award (worth one A Level) or a double award (worth two A Levels).

An A-Level is a General Certificate of Education (GCE) qualification designed around an individual subject which is assessed predominantly by examinations. Vocational qualifications are predominantly coursework based courses that are also well regarded
by universities and employers.

In order to study at the William de Ferrers Sixth Form, students are required to have achieved at least five GCSEs or equivalent at grade five or above. In addition to this, they are expected to meet the entry requirements of individual subjects which are detailed in the course guide.

In addition to these academic qualifications, students also have the option to take a number of enrichment options, the details of which can also be found in the sixth form course guide.
