Thursday 15 August 2024 - well done for a great set of results by our sixth form students This year enjoyed a great set of results with almost 50% of entries achieving A*-B or equivalent. The outcomes this year are a real credit to our students and staff and are a testament to the hard work and commitment shown by all. An impressive 85% of students achieved three or more A level or equivalent at A*-E. Students also achieved outstanding results in BTEC vocational subjects such as engineering, sport, business and information technology. An exceptional 91% of students achieved Distinction* to Merit with a 100% overall pass rate in these subjects. |

Happy students from school arrived early to collect their well earned GCSE results on Thursday 22 August 2024. The atmosphere was wonderful as young people celebrated their successes with hugs and laughter with friends, teachers and family members. Faces were filled with joy as our amazing young people opened their envelopes which revealed the rewards of years of hard work. Through the individual journeys of aspiration and perseverance, students finally achieved their academic rewards which will allow them to continue their next steps in education and training. We are enormously proud of the results achieved by our students; we look forward to welcoming many back into our sixth form in September and wish those who will be studying at other colleges the very best in the future. |
