Introducing Sparx Maths
For parents and carers of students in years 7-10
On Wednesday 02 October we launched a new maths platform called Sparx for students in years 7-10. Pupils will be set online homework every Wednesday. The homework will contain questions relating to the work students are covering in lessons as well as test their recall of topics they have covered previously. Once we have ensured that all pupils are successfully accessing the platform we will then open the parent/ carer aspect where you will receive reminder emails regarding deadline dates for homework as well as any other relevant information. We envisage this will be set up by October half term.
For parents and carers of students in year 11
Year 11 pupils will soon have access to the independent learning section of the Sparx maths platform to support their revision. Maths teachers will provide guidance with regards to how to navigate the site to support their learning and help to close any knowledge gaps.
