Celebrating European Day of Languages

William de Ferrers school celebrated the European Day of Languages on 26th September. Year 7 students took part in a language treasure hunt during break time. During the lunch break, staff from the MFL department offered free ice poles to students who asked in either Spanish or French. It was lovely to see everyone trying to use Spanish and French, and Year 7 students learning 10 different European ways to say hello. We would like to thank the Friends of William de Ferrers for their generous donation, which made the activities of the day possible. A special thank you to all the students who supported the event and helped the MFL staff at lunchtime. |
